Stiladario beach
Stiladario beach. The beach of 600 meters long combines sand, fine pebble and wonderful blue waters. In the deep, some rocky plates do not impede swimming. On the first half of the beach the organization is assumed by the hotel while the other half by a coffee-bar.
Agios Georgios beach
Agios Georgios beach. From there a very difficult dirt road begins and perhaps requires the use of a 4x4. A km further down you will see the first, and less than (100 meters), beach of Saint George.
Azapiko beach
Azapiko beachOn the south part of Neos Marmaras, at 13 km, exit the main road towards the coastline. At about 1.5 km you will meet the sea. Turn left in order to meet two amazingly beautiful beaches of 350 and 500 meters respectively.
Aretes beach
Aretes beach.13 km south of Neos Marmaras, exit from the main road towards the coastline. After of about 1.5 km you will meet the sea. Turn left and after overtaking the first two beaches of Azapikos you will meet a cluster of three beaches.
Tristinika beach
Tristinika beach. At about 13 km south of Neos Marmaras, exit from the main road towards the coastline. After of about 1.5 km you will meet the sea. Turn left and after overtaking Azapiko and Aretes you will meet a small road which leads to a beach of 1200 meters, particularly known for the ‘ethnic’ beach bar which attracts many people in the area.
Tristinikouda beach
Tristinikouda beach. On the way from Neos Marmaras to Toroni, just before you reach the last beach, you will meet another beach of about 500 meters long, squashed, could someone say, between Tristinika and Toroni.
Toroni beach
The great ‘lady’ of the south part of the peninsula of Sithonia is Toroni. One of the biggest and sandy beaches of Halkidiki spreads at about 18 km south of Neos Marmaras. Its total length is over 2 km and offers plenty of space even to the largest families.
Porto Koufo beach
4km south of Toroni there is a ‘jewel’ bay, Porto Koufo. It is a protected bay by the currents and the winds and constitutes the best shelter for fishermen and visitors with boats. However Porto Koufo has a big and a wonderful beach a bit further from the picturesque port with the fish restaurants.
Marathias Beach
Marathias Beach. At about 4 km south of Toroni there is a ‘jewel’ bay, Porto Koufo. Continuing the road south towards the cape Laimos, 2 km after Porto Koufo, you will see a dirt road which leads to Marathia. There you will find a beach 200 meters long with a very small extension behind a rock.
Lemos beach, Sithonia, Halkidiki, Greece
Lemos beach. At about 4 km south of Toroni there is Porto Koufo. Continue the road towards Kalamitsi and just before the 2nd km on your right there is a dirt road which passes behind a small pond. Next after passing Marathias, you need to climb up the mountain in order to get on the other side behind it.
