East Komitsa beach, Ierissos gulf, Halkidiki, Greece
The beach Komitsa located on the eastern part of the Gulf of Ierissos, just before the borders of Mount Athos. Divided into two parts by a rock. The eastern part of Koumitsas is more solitary and deserted. More than 3 km long and is mostly sandy. There is not much organization only at a point in the center where you can find sun loungers and parasols. For food and shelter closest village is Nea Roda. Note that the edges and especially the borders of Mount Athos, the beach hosts some nudists.
West Komitsa beach, Ierissos gulf, Halkidiki, Greece
The beach of Komitsa located on the eastern part of the Gulf of Ierissos, just before the limits of Mount Athos. Divided into two parts by a rock. The western part of Koumitsa is more secular and busy. The existence of a camp and some hotel facilities make the western part of the beach more organized. Umbrellas and sunbeds are in some places of this sandy beach close to 800 meters long. It is more family and youthful beach.

Nea Roda beach, Ierissos gulf, Halkidiki
Nea Roda is a settlement in the Gulf of Ierissos. The beach stretches from east to west over a length of 1.5 km. Sandy the most part, interrupted by artificial quays which adequately protects the tall waves, especially in winter. It is well organized, especially the track right in front of the settlement. More privacy and space will find its ends.

The biggest settlement of the Gulf of Ierissos is Ierissos. Beach wide and sandy, extends over three kilometers in length and continues for another 2 km under another name. It is perfectly organized in all services. Provides umbrellas and sunbeds in various places, eating and sleeping, camping and hotels, as well as many other services for bathers. Very popular beach with all ages guests. The central points are noisy while the ends are quieter.
Kakoudia beach, Halkidiki, Greece
Inside the bay of Ierissos and about 3 km northern of its beach, there is the beach Kakoudia. It is about a beach of 1 km long with its main characteristic some relief rocks whicn adorn its waters and sand.

On the way from Ierissos to Stratoni, halfway, you will find an exit to the beach. Right the road leads to the beach Kakoudia while to the left you will find the Gavriadia. Long sandy main beach with little pebbles in several places. It is an organized beach, at least not to the extent that it is considered secular. It hosts mainly visitors from the surrounding houses and the nearby settlements. You should care about your food or go to neighboring Ierissos.
