East Potidea beach, Kassandra, Halkidiki
Potidaea is a village 66 km south of Thessaloniki and just 6 km from New Moudania and is just off the canal that connects the Thermaikos bay Toroneos. The settlement stretched from eastern to western side of the peninsula of Cassandra and for this reason there are two beaches. The beach on the eastern side, facing Toroneos bay is more organized and secular. Much of restaurants, beach bars and shops located on this side of town. The beach is long and sandy for the most part, with only a few points with small pebbles. It is very well organized, both umbrellas and sunbeds, and in accommodations and restaurants. During the summer the nightlife is quite sharp and offers a wide variety of entertainment.
