The Aggelohori is a village about 30 km south-west of Thessaloniki. On the beach of 400 meters that lies next to the harbor the fishermen there is no organization in umbrellas and sunbeds (although there are some deserted) and a canteen offers fast food and coffees to the few visitors who are mostly from the surrounding area. The beach is sandy for the most part with some small pebbles in some places. Although the village has residents, taverns near the beach is mostly open during the summer months but it would be good to check before you go. The settlement of Aggelochori serves local bus from the city of Thessaloniki.
